19th century american antique high victorian era ornamental cast bronze metal commercial store door pull likely fabricated by russell & erwin or p. & f. corbin. the intricately designed backplate and handle contain a largely uniform surface finish treated with an oil-rubbed metal bronze enamel. the thumblatch lever was removed long ago. the decorative handle is secured tightly to the backplate. measures approximately 14 3/4 x 2 1/2 inches.
