rare early 20th century original and completely intact american antique "marquise" pattern outdoor flush mount push-button doorbell designed and fabricated by the lockwood hardware co., norwalk, conn. the "marquise" pattern doorbell contains a detachable threaded end dome-shaped cover plate housing the composition button and contacts. the backplate contains two screw holes for mounting purposes.
