c. 1910-20 original yellow brass wall-mount salvaged chicago single light wall sconce designed and fabricated by the faries mfg. co., decatur, ills. the wall-mount fixture contains a shallow bell-shaped white opalescent glass shade free from cracks or breaks. the tubular arm and canopy are structurally sound and solid. the fixture was removed from the chicago athletic association building annex, built in 1907. the antique american wall sconce has been rewired.
