c. 1900-10 antique american ornamental cast bronze new york city public school doorknob with embossed lettering surrounded by floral ornament. the interior emblematic oval-shaped doorknob was salvaged from one of the public school administration buildings within the city. the doorknob was fabricated by the sargent hardware co., new haven, ct. multiple doorknobs available. measures approximately 2 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches.
