thoroughly cleaned and refinished c. 1940's multi-purpose american vintage industrial factory machine shop stationary compartmentalized single-drawer "tool stand" supply cart designed and fabricated by lyon metal products inc., aurora, il. the heavily reinforced thick gauge pressed and folded steel cabinet contains a mostly uniform brushed and sanded metal finish treated with a clear coat sealant to prevent surface corrosion. the reversible undershelves below provide added support and stability. the angled steel legs are structurally sound. the "lyon" cabinet was salvaged from a chicago area tool and die factory. similar cabinets with original weathered paint finish or refinished throughout, are available. measures 20 x 28 x 34 inches.
