fully functional c. 1940's american industrial portable heavy gauge steel four-legged military field table or desk stand. the exact fabricator is not known. the pivoting and/or collapsible table base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the original rounded edge wood top was removed due to extensive damage. a tabletop, comprised of wood, glass or metal, can easily be mounted to the folding table. small brackets with mounting holes are integrated onto the legs. the distinctive ball feel are original and intact. measures 14 3/4 x 14 1/4 x 25 1/2 inches.
