largely intact and all original c. 1940's-1950's rare american double-sided porcelain enameled "trolley stop" flange sign purportedly used in the san diego area of california. the highly sought after double-sided sign is comprised of heavy gauge die cut steel with a vitreous or porcelain enameled finish contains a nicely aged surface patina from prolonged exposure to the outdoor elements. the majority of porcelain loss resides along the angled flange. the trolley stop sign was fabricated by the texlite sign co., dallas, tx.
