refinished old american industrial brushed and sanded bare metal portable tool or tackle box with double-sided fold-out trays. the exact fabricator is not known. the riveted joint heavy gauge sheet steel storage box or chest contains fully functional "piano" or continuous hinges riveted tightly in place. the bent tubular steel drop handle and clasp are original to the lightweight toolbox. the bare metal has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer. surface wear and tear evident. measures 17 x 8 x 10 inches
