original c. 1930's american craftsman style interior residential varnished wood frame leaded art glass casement window

american craftsman style interior residential art glass casement window salvaged from a chicago bungalow residence built in the 1930's. the hinged wood sash frame window features a strongly geometric design, consisting of a simple grid surrounded by a caramel color slag glass border. the uniquely-shaped rectangle with concave corners is comprised of a light purple slag glass. evenly spaced flashy gold leaf sandwich glass squares liven the otherwise monotonous straight lines forming the inner rectangular shape. the remainder of the panels are made of clear glass. original zinc caming sound and sturdy. very little, if any, bowing of the glass evident. original varnished wood sash frames. the window was made by the foster-munger co., chicago, il. similar windows from this particular salvage available. contains several breaks at the bottom of the window which are not visible in the picture. the window measures 22 x 40 3/4 inches.
