very unique and unusual c. 1920's early american beauty parlor stationary shampoo chair possibly manufactured by emil j. paidar, chicago, il. the industrial four-legged chair contains a tubular metal frame with original hardened black rubber feet. the swinging arms rests are comprised of cast bronze. the perforated arch top backrest is made of cast iron. the highly contoured seat is heavy gauge pressed and folded steel. the salon chair has been refinished. seat height measures 18 inches.
