early 20th century original antique american medical angled wrought iron of steel three-tier mobile hospital operating room work stand or station designed and fabricated by the thorner mfg. co., new york city, ny. the hospital supply stand or cart contains an older green paint finish likely painted over the original "sani-white" baked enameled finish found on medical cabinetry and furniture of this time period. the original diminutive swivel bassick casters with hardened black rubber wheels are in good condition, considering age. the removable thick plate glass shelves are likely original to the work stand. the medical furniture piece was salvaged from a hospital in michigan. 21 inches x 16 1/4 inches x 32 inches.
