original and largely intact vintage chicago hand-painted public school "life-like" nystrom anatomical torso model

hard to find and largely intact c. 1950s-1960s vintage medical life-size human anatomical torso instructional model with original polychrome enameled (hand-painted) finish largely intact. the "life-like" freestanding model with labeled base is a detailed educational model skillfully crafted to provide a detailed three dimensional visual understanding of human anatomy. the "take apart" anatomical model is comprised largely of molded plastic with diminutive hand-painted numbers. the head-less torso contains a multitude of detachable body organs ansd/or systems. the model was designed and fabricated by by a.j. nystrom & co., chicago, ills. the model - and many others - were salvaged from an old chicago public school.
