very clean and intact antique american depression era interior residential single electric pendant hallway light fixture likely designed and fabricated by the harry alter lighting co., chicago, il. the unique and visually distinctive gothic style light fixture features cathedral-esque panels divided by ornamented brass posts with finials. the multifaceted fixture contains streaked stained glass accentuated with faceted amethyst tear drop jewels. the single brass shell socket is housed within the center, surrounded by the art glass panels. the original antique gold stamped brass canopy and chain are intact. great overall condition. the hallway pendant was salvaged from a chicago tudor revival residence.
