handcrafted american industrial side or occasional table containing a vintage c. 1940's heavy gauge steel two-drawer "quality springs" cabinet fabricated by or for the raymond mfg. co., corry, pa. the diminutive storage cabinet contains matching drawers with pressed steel handles and oversized placard holders. the cabinet has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the handcrafted stand or base is made from solid mahogany wood. the four-legged stand contains square post legs supporting two nice-sized undershelves for additional storage. the table top is comprised of mahogany with a three-sided tapered edge rail guard. the base and top section are fastened tightly to the steel cabinet. very unique and distinctive industrial furniture piece incorporating recycled wood and cabinetry from an old factory office building. measures approximately 17 1/2 x 12 1/2 x 33 inches.
