single original depression era intact c. 1930's lightweight aluminum storage tote or bin designed and fabricated by the union steel products co., albion, mi. the factory machine shop small parts storage bin is structurally sound and stable. the clean and compact mid-size box is comprised of several riveted joint sheets of aluminum with folded edges. a small stamp reading "f.l. walters" (the factory machinist's name) is along the folded top edge above the cut-out handle. surface wear is typical of its age and date of manufacture. measures 11 x 9 x 9 inches.
