original and intaxct c. 1930's wall mount american art deco single light "alabax" sconce manufactured by the pass & seymour inc., syracuse, ny. standard 2 1/4 inch fitter with intact threaded set screws. pull-chain socket in working condition. streamlined style art deco white opalescent glass shade original. plug receptacle (for electrical appliances) found below the socket housing. the american depresion-era wall sconce was salvaged from a chicago residence undergoing demoliton.
