highly desirable original and completely intact triple-jointed fully adjustable early 1940's industrial "mekelite" designed and fabricated by mek-elek engineering ltd., london. two nearly identical fixtures are available. the fixture retains the original aand versatile c-clamp for mounting on a flat surface (e.g., desk, workbench, etc.). the clamp and two tubular steel arms are in great condition. the lamp head or reflector contains a hinged cover with a single slotted opening for controlling the angle and/or intensity of the light. the original army green enameled finish has not been altered or cleaned. very unique and hard to find fixture intact and untouched. surface wear consistent with age. shade measures 5 x 3 1/4, clamp measures 4 inches wide. measures 31 inches when fully extended.
