original and intact c. 1920's or 1930's american antique industrial complete control panel used with a factory building freight elevator fabricated by or for the otis elevator company, new york city, ny. the long rectangular-shaped push button panel was removed from the cab shortly after power was cut from the building in preparation for demolition. the multi-colored push buttons are all intact and fully functional. the building was constructed around 1910-1912 for the standard oil of indiana company. the building was later acquired by the a. finkl & sons foundry as it expanded throughout the 20th century. measures 17 x 4 inches.
