solidly-built american depression era antique industrial freestanding factory storage cabinet possibly fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. the heavy duty all-welded joint cabinet is comprised of heavy gauge plate steel. the cabinet has been brushed and sanded down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the overlapping hinged doors contain a single lockable hasp for use with a padlock. the cabinet interior is divided into two columns with left side containing two pull-out drawers with recessed handles. the uppermost drawer spans the entire length of the cabinet interior. the low-lying angled steel legs are structurally sound and stable. measures 25 x 15 x 35 1/2 inches.
