original 19th century antique american victorian era pressed red terra cotta ornamental freemont street house exterior face brick or block with "bullseye" design motif

one of several 19th century antique american exterior freemont house (since demolished) victorian era ornamental richly colored "sunburst" pattern red bricks designed and fabricated by the anderson pressed brick company, chicago, ills. several matching bricks were salvaged from a victorian era residence located on freemont street in chicago. the house was demolished to make way for new development. variations in the exterior facade face bricks, both in size and pattern are available. when the two bricks or blocks are joined together, they create a visually striking sunburst pattern surrounded by concentric rings. a few of the bricks retain the original black stenciled catalog number or design identification on the backside. surface conditions vary from one brick to the next. priced for a single two-piece set. the set measures 10 x 10 x 3 1/4 inches.
