two matching original 19th century american antique ornamental cast iron passage door rosettes designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the decorative rosettes contain a repeating palmette design motif surrounding the collar or thimble. the flush mount rosettes have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. each rosette contains three screw holes for mounting purposes. priced for the pair. several sets were salvaged recently from a chicago victorian era residence undergoing demolition. rosette diameter measures 2 inches.
