original 19th century antique american ornamental eastlake style cast iron loose pin interior residential door hinges with a brushed bare metal finish

matching set of original and completely intact antique american victorian era ornamental cast iron interior residential passage door hinges designed and fabricated by the p. & f. corbin or possibly the trenton lock and hardware company. the two oversized loose pine hinges have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the leaves are heavily ornamented with leafage, scrolls and geometric borders. the fanciful turned and tapered "steeple" type finials are original and intact. each hinge measures 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches. great working condition. the knuckles show very little wear. multiple sets of these hinges were salvaged from a chicago graystone residence constructed in the late 1880's. priced for the pair.
