original 1920s softbound dedication booklet made for léon eugène arnal's art deco style 32-story foshay tower (1929), located at 821 marquette avenue, minneapolis, mn.
the indiana limestone-clad minneapolis skyscraper was built for businessman wilbur foshay, who owned and operated the w.b. foshay company. the building was built by the architectural firm of amgney & tusler - later known as setter, leach & lindstrom. léon eugène arnal was lead designer
the interior lobby features mahogany wood trim, marble wainscoting, gold-plated doorknobs (see image), a silver and gold-plated cast plaster ceiling, crystal "wedding cake" light fixtures, and ornamental bronze fixtures (e.g., elevator doors, mailbox and grilles) that were fabricated by the crown ironworks of minneapolis, mn.
