single lightly cleaned 1880's all original chicago commercial building interior apartment or tenement room passage door likely fabricated by the c.j.l. meyer mfg. co., chicago, il. the distressed paint door was removed from a milwaukee avenue commercial block building (containing residential living on the upper floors) constructed around 1885. the paneled passage door exhibits an allover crazed finish. the original painted treatment consisted of a faux wood grain finish mimicking a hardwood. the door's rails and stiles are structurally sound and stable. only a few passage doors in this configuration available. 27 1/2 x 92
