completely refinished c. 1870's chicago interior commercial building reinforced wrought iron joist bracket or hanger possibly fabricated by the f. l. heughes company, rochester, ny. limited quantity of single and double bar brackets available. the uniquely shaped bent and twisted wrought iron hangers were used for reinforcing large timber joists in a chicago commercial building undergoing demolition. the hangers have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. aside from their intended use, the hangers have great design potential for repurposing. priced individually. the asking price reflects a complete or full hanger.
