exceptional early 20th century salvaged exterior ploychromed terra cotta sullivanesque building cartouche likely fabricated by the american terra cotta company, chicago, ills. the multi-part assembly contains a richly colored green glazed over brown finish. the architect and commission are not known. the ornament is not a "stock" pattern made by midland terra cotta and other company's during the early 20th century. research pertaining to the building's identity and architect is ongoing. two matching cartouches available. priced individually.
