hard to find and uniquely-designed early 20th century all original american industrial three-unit freestanding locker designed and fabricated by the durand steel locker company, inc., chicago, il. the impressive locker features original diamond-shaped "expanded" steel mesh doors with cast iron t-handles. the locker framing is comprised of angled iron riveted against sheets of coll-rolled iron. the interior compartments contain hooks for hanging garments and a metal top shelf for the storage of "smalls." the locker unit has been brushed and sanded down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the locker unit was salvaged from an old sprawling chicago factory complex. the locker was likely fabricated around 1918-20. identical units with the same overall configuration available. priced individually. measures 36 x 14 1/2 x 69 1/2 inches
