single all original and complete interior residential antique american mission style passage door lockset designed and fabricated by the reading hardware company, reading, pa. the lockset consists of two matching stamped brass backplates or escutcheons, a pair of brass doorknobs with steel spindle and set screws and mortise lock or box. the faceplate on the mortise lock is comprised of brass. the latch and dead bolts are intact and fully functional. the hardware retains the original nicely aged surface patina. a total of ten sets were salvaged from a 1915 chicago residence located on burling street. priced individually. measures 3 3/4 x 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches.
