original and completely intact c. 1930's american depression era industrial cold-rolled steel stationary waste can designed and fabricated by the united metal cabinet corp., pottsville, pa. the refinished "united" trash can was salvaged from a large chicago factory that recently closed. several matching trash cans are available in either a painted or brushed metal finish. the patented pyramidal-shaped top contains a double-sided hinged door configuration. the word "push" is lightly embossed on each of the doors. the brushed and/or bare metal has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer. very compact and clean. priced individually.
