exceptional all original and well-maintained interior residential c. 1880's american aesthetic style salvaged minneapolis solid oak wood newel posts with distinctive profiles. the hand carved oak wood newel posts were salvaged from a minneapolis mansion built around 1883 shortly before it was demolished. the posts were located on the main floor flanking the steps. the richly carved posts feature newel caps with berries and leafage. the exact fabricator is not known. priced for the pair.
