light, compact, custom built american antique industrial portable tool chest or box salvaged from a chicago area sign shop. the diminutive chest with pyramidal-shaped hinged top is comprised of folded and pressed galvanized steel reinforced with rivets. the original turned wood drop handle with incised rings is comprised of maple. the cabinet's interior is equipped with the original removable "small parts" tray. the centrally located drop-down hasp is used for security and prevention of content spillage. the tool box exterior has been cleaned and sealed with a clear coat finish. measures approximately 10 3/4 x 4 1/4 x 6"
