original and intact c. 1950's "factory green" enameled vintage american industrial mobile tool cabinet or cart designed and fabricated by the lyon metal products inc., aurora, ills. the industrial cabinet has been modified by a machinist with the addition of oversized swivel casters and a three-sided raised edge top. the single oversized cabinet door is fastened and secured with a lockable hasp. the bassick hardened black rubber wheels or casters are in great shape. the green paint finish contains surface wear consistent with age and use. the machine shop storage cabinet is structurally sound and stable. measures 28 1/2 x 14 x 35 1/2 inches.
