original old american diminutive cast brass nicely worn combination beer bottle opener and muddler fabricated by or for the joseph schlitz brewing company, milwaukee, wisc. the bottom portion (i.e., muddler) was used like a pestle to mix and mash fruits and the like in cocktails to release their flavors. the nicely aged surface patina has been left untouched. 2 1/4 inches wide, 5 inches tall
