late 1940's vintage american industrial four-legged all-riveted joint angled iron stamping factory stool with original nicely worn solid maple wood circular-shaped seat. the reinforced stationary stool retains the original "pollard green" baked enameled finish. the stool contains a multitude of riveted joint stretchers for added support and stability. the single industrial stool was designed and fabricated by the pollard brothers, chicago, il. the unrestored stool shows great wear consistent with age. several pollard stools were salvaged from this chicago-area factory, including both backless and stools containing contoured backrests. base measures 15 inches, seat height measures 25 inches, seat diameter measures 14 inches.
