remarkable original and weathered and worn single-sided antique american medical hospital directional sign possibly fabricated by the leslie sign company, chicago, il. the stamped steel sign was either mounted against a wall or possibly a sign post. the heavy gauge steel sign features embossed lettering and a large directional arrow pointing towards the direction of the hospital's location. the original black and white paint finish is heavily worn from prolonged exposure to the elements. the sign measures 18 x 12 inches.
