two matching oversized heavy duty early 20th century antique american industrial cast iron factory machine shop turret legs designed and fabricated by the greaves klusman tool company, cincinnati, oh. the remarkable robust c. 1918-20 industrial bases were painstakingly removed from a massive machine lathe. each curvaceous cast iron leg or base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the bare metal surface patina is mostly uniform throughout. the bases are free from breaks, cracks or weld repairs. priced for the pair. measure 28 inches high x 20 inches at the widest point.
