two matching antique american victorian era 19th century freestanding cast iron newel posts designed and fabricated by the dearborn foundry co., chicago, il. the decorative iron newel posts are replete with large ball finials and multiple embossed floral rosettes. the floor plates containing pre-drilled holes are free from damage. mostly uniform black enameled finish throughout. salvaged from a chicago graystone residence undergoing demolition. priced for the pair. posts measure approximately 7 x 7 x 37 1/2 inches.
