two matching original and intact antique american industrial ornamental cast iron victorian era parlor potbelly stove components likely salvaged from a stove fabricated by the william g. fischer & co., cincinnati, oh. the badly deteriorated stove was found in the attic of a chicago residence undergoing demolition. the two decorative plaques contain two richly colored and allover crazed majolica tile insets with female profile or "portraits." the cast iron sections have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. great overall condition. priced for the pair. measures 3 3/4 x 1/2 x 11 1/2 inches.
