two matching refinished late 19th century antique american ornamental cast iron interior residential shelf brackets possibly fabricated by the russell & erwin mfg. co., new britain, ct. the intricately designed support brackets feature foliated scrollwork running the along the underside of the l-shaped bracket. one of the brackets does contain a repair, but does not detract much from the overall aesthetic and/or compromises the structural integrity of the bracket. the brackets have been refinish (brushed metal surface). priced for the pair. each bracket measures 7 x 9 inches.
