pair of all original 19th century antique american victorian era interior residential sliding parlor door mortise locks designed and fabricated by the parker & whipple co., west menden, ct. the cast bronze slide levers, push buttons and finger lock are all in working condition. the ornamental cast iron aesthetic style face plates have been thoroughly cleaned. the cast iron lock boxes retain the original baked black enameled or "japanned" finish. measure approximately 7 3/4 x 1 1/4 x 3 5/8 inches. priced for the pair.
