lot of 8 matching all original continental illinois national bank and trust company building office chairs possibly fabricated by the tonk company, chicago, ills. the group of side chairs retain the original brass inventory tags with numbers. the leather upholstered chairs retain the original darkly stained finish. the oversized brass nail heads are prominently displayed along the edges of the seats and sides. the chairs are structurally sound and stable. the 20-story bank building was completed in 1924. graham, anderson, probst & white were the architects on record. priced for the lot.
