two matching all original and intact robust cast iron factory machine shop lathe legs or bases likely designed and fabricated by the w.a. jones foundry & mach co., chicago, ills. the heavy duty cast iron legs have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the curvaceous legs are cast as single pieces with integrated feet or footings for added stability. date to the early 20th century. the antique american industrial lathe legs are priced as a pair.
