set of original and intact american industrial hot steam blocks purportedly used for forming or blocking hats. each unusual device contains an oversized egg-shaped cast aluminum block with several holes for releasing hot steam. the refinished aluminum blocks are supported by threaded end steel pipes. the uniquely-shaped and/or customized flanges are comprised of cast iron with pre-drilled holes for anchoring against a flat work surface. each unit has been brushed, sanded and sealed. priced for the pair.
