two matching c. 1930's american art deco style ornamental cast iron flush mount single electric light wall sconces designed and and patented by arthur r. krause for the max schaffer company, new york city, ny. the highly stylized american antique interior residential wall sconces contain a partially intact copper-plated finish. the original pressed ornamental glass slip shades were removed long ago. very unique and distinctive floral ornament along the backplate and socket housing. priced for the pair. measures approximately 5 x 3 x 8 1/4 inches.
