rare collection of 19th century original albumen stereoview cards featuring scenes in and around the mill district in minneapolis, mn. views include the first and second hennepin avenue bridges, st. anthony falls, washburn a mill and 1878 explosion of washburn mill located on the west bank of the mississipi river. one of the stereoviews shows minneapolis city hall and bridge square as it appeared around 1870. the majority of the photographs were taken by w.h. jacoby and m. nowack. priced for the lot.
