original late 19th or early 20th century antique american ornamental cast bronze metal "genoa" pattern doorknobs and matching backplates designed and fabricated by the p. & f. corbin company, new britain, ct. the matching hardware was salvaged from a chicago mansion built around the turn of the century. the doorknobs contains a slightly sunken center with slightly raised buttons. nicely aged and mostly uniform surface patina throughout. priced for the lot.
