original antique american eastlake style "windsor" pattern interior residential doorknob backplate designed and fabricated by the reading hardware co., reading, pa. the passage door escutcheon is comprised of wrought bronze metal with a lightly incised design motif throughout. a dark bronze metallic enameled finish has been applied to accentuate the detailing. measures 5 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches.
