all original and fully functional late 19th century interior residential passage door mortise lock likely fabricated by norwich or the sargent hardware company. the spring-loaded latch bolt remains in great working condition. dead bolt intact, but skeleton key long gone. the mortise lock features a fanciful cast brass faceplate with eastlake style abstract floral motifs. lock box comprised of cast iron with original baked black enameled finish. measures approximately 5 1/4 x 3/4 x 3 1/8 inches.
