very well-built early american industrial four-legged all-riveted joint angled steel machine shop factory stool designed and fabricated by the angle steel stool co., plainwell, mich. the stool contains four solidly constructed legs with inward turned ball feel for added support and stability. the original solid maple wood seat is tightly affixed to the base. the slightly contoured backrest is original and attached to the underside of the seat. the multiple stretchers used to reinforce the legs are all original and in great condition. the stool has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a cleat coat lacquer. the wood seat has been sanded and sealed. seat diameter measures 14 inches with a total stool height of 34 inches.
