early 20th century american medical heavy gauge cold-rolled steel hospital room supply and/or instrument cabinet, manufactured around 1910-18 by the a.s. aloe company, st. louis, mo. the original cabriole style four-legged base was removed long ago. the brushed steel medical cabinet contains centrally located swing-out cabinet doors with clear plate glass insets. the white enameled interior is equipped with two removable glass shelves. the doors are flanked by a multitude of pull-out drawers with undivided inner compartments. the original yellow brass unornamented drawer pulls or knobs are original to the cabinet. measures 36 x 18 x 20 inches.
